Job Description:
Device Maintenance in the Lab:
- Receive and process new devices into the lab (lab admin duties).
- Manage the DataBase and inventory of lab devices, maintaining regular communication with lab clients.
- Monitor devices for issues such as swollen batteries, overheating, electrical connections, USB hubs, and battery health.
General Lab Maintenance:
- Operate computer networks, including both physical and logical connections.
- Maintain computers and servers.
- Operate specialized auxiliary equipment in the lab.
Fault Management and Facility Maintenance:
- Maintain air conditioning, fire detection, and fire detection systems.
- Oversee cameras and RF equipment.
- Manage external connections and the access control system.
- Maintain furniture and internal physical connections.
Job Requirements:
- Background and experience in IT/computer maintenance and networking.
- Experience in lab operations is an advantage.
- Level 2 security clearance.
- Must be thorough and meticulous.
General: Work schedule: 5 days a week.
